Dr. Dan Diehl is a charter member of the Auscultation Brass and started playing trumpet with the group in 1985. He has been a Family Medicine Doctor for the last 30 years, practicing in Willow Street, PA (just south of Lancaster). He was also the first Medical Director of the Willow Valley Retirement Communities

Born in Alaska, but raised in the hard coal regions of NorthEast PA, he attended Lafayette College where he used his musical talent in the Marching, Concert, and Pep Bands. He was also the Band president his senior year

Following college, Dr. Diehl got his Medical Degree at Jefferson Medical College and then completed his Residency in Family Practice at Lancaster General Hospital.  He is Board Certified.

He enjoys his spending time with his ten children (ages 15-30), travel, sports, photography, and singing in his church choir.
