Andrew graduated Magna Cum Laude from Lycoming College in Williamsport, PA with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music.  He then completed medical school at the Penn State College of Medicine in Hershey, PA.  He completed his residency in Family Medicine at the Reading Hospital Family Medicine Residency Program in Reading, PA and a Family Medicine Obstetrics Fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham/Huntsville Campus.

He is on faculty at the Penn State College of Medicine in Hershey, PA practicing the full-scope of family medicine including obstetrics.  He is originally from Middletown, PA and is happy to have the opportunity to continue to serve within the community in which he grew up as his primary clinic location is located in Middletown.

Andy has been playing his trumpet since elementary school and was a member of the Marching, Concert, and Jazz Bands in both middle and high school.  While at Lycoming College, he sat first chair in the concert band and was the founding member of the jazz band and brass ensemble.  He also performed in the choir, chamber choir, and tour choir.  After a short hiatus during medical school, he was happy to return to music while in his residency, courtesy of fellow Ausculation Brass member, Dr. Bill Lovett.

He currently lives close to Hershey with his wife Kristen, who is a pediatric allergist and is also on faculty at Penn State and his daughter, Caroline, who greatly enjoys watching her daddy play!
